Barback - Crooked Hammock BrewerySummary of Position: At Crooked Hammock Brewery, Barbacks are essential to keeping the bar running smoothly from start to finish. In this role, you'll support the bartending team by staying ahead on stocking, prep, and cleanliness, helping to create a seamless flow of service even during the busiest shifts. It's a fast-paced, hands-on position that requires awareness, hustle, and a team-first mindset—jumping in wherever needed to keep things moving. Must Enjoy the Ride!Duties & Responsibilities:Keep the bar fully stocked with glassware, ice, liquor, beer, and supplies at all timesPrep fresh juices, mixes, and garnishes to keep service moving efficientlyChange kegs and retrieve product from walk-in coolers as neededWash and restock glassware, shakers, and bar toolsMaintain a clean and organized bar area, including wiping down surfaces and cleaning spills quicklyClear tables, remove used glassware, and reset spaces for incoming guestsTake out trash and recycling to keep the workspace clean and functionalBe a team player and assist bartenders with any additional tasks to support seamless serviceLive as a brand ambassador and make decisions in the best interest of CHB at all timesQualifications:Must be at least 18 years oldSome relevant experience helpfulMust possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportationMust be eligible to work in the United StatesFlexibility of schedule to assume responsibilities as needed, ability to balance personal & professional lifeMust work nights and weekendsProfessional appearance, punctual, reliableHospitality soul with guest friendly demeanorExhibit a sense of urgency and be able to work in fast paced environmentAdvanced written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skillsWell organizedProficiency in basic computer applications, word processing, spreadsheet, internet, POSFrequently walk and occasionally bend over, twist, kneel, climb, stoop and crouchThis position requires the ability to lift up to 55 pounds and maneuver 170 pounds as well as climbing up and down stairs quite frequently during shiftsCompensation: This position pays $9.25/hour + tips and awesome employee perks.
