Position Overview As Transportation and Logistics Manager, you will optimize transportation and logistics operations through data-driven strategies, strong partnerships, process improvements, and industry best practices — improving scalability, gross margin, budget performance, and customer satisfaction. What You Will Do Drive monthly reporting to senior operations leadership regarding key initiatives and projects Develop monthly and quarterly financial budgets for transportation and warehousing, and report on performance to internal stakeholders Coordinate effective use of carriers to meet inbound and outbound capacity, service, and least-cost objectives Identify, prioritize, and execute gross margin opportunities within the supply chain Prepare monthly and yearly volume forecasts for 3PL and transportation partners Evaluate 3PL/transportation partner performance (scorecards) and lead quarterly business reviews Negotiate transportation rates and contracts Establish supply-chain performance metrics tied to company goals Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost, improve OTIF, and reduce damages/delays Recommend purchases of new or improved technology and coordinate with internal stakeholders Provide timely cross-functional communication to improve overall company performance Ensure accurate billing and timely resolution of claims Manage inbound cost points including duties, tariff classifications, and freight Other duties as assigned What You'll Need To Be Successful At least 8 years of relevant work experience Ability to work with international and domestic freight forwarders Ability to work independently with headquarters or vendor partners Self-motivated, responsible, independent, hardworking, and able to perform under pressure Fluent English skills, written and spoken Proficiency in PC skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Immediate availability preferred Professional attitude, strong organizational skills, and dependability Team-oriented mindset What You'll Love About This Opportunity Competitive salary and bonus Benefits and 401(k) available on day one Small team with high visibility and impact #J-18808-Ljbffr
