CT Technologist – Radiology

Self-schedule based on seniority; must be open to all shift times (start times: 06:00, 08:00, 15:00, 17:00). Weekend requirements may exceed every-other weekend. No call required.

Guaranteed hours may be affected by facility needs. Facility may call off once every two-week pay period.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in a busy CT department, with preference for community hospital experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT certification (CT or ARRT-R acceptable) and CA CRT license required.
• Compact license must be in hand at the time of submission.
• Key clinical skills include CT angiography, stroke protocols, trauma imaging, and familiarity with PACS systems.
• References: 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Performing CT scans on patients across various age groups, including pediatrics and geriatrics.
• Preparing and administering contrast as needed, while adhering to radiation safety protocols.
• Assisting in transport of patients as required.
• Documenting and managing images within electronic health records.
• Participating in procedures such as biopsies and drainage as necessary.

Requests for time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission. Candidates must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
