If you're currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in one of the STEM disciplines below, demonstrate strong academic performance, and bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills, we want to hear from you. Areas of study may include, but are not limited to: Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Construction Engineering Management, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Petroleum Technology, Reliability Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, Geoscience.

What You Will Do At our company, your internship is an opportunity for impact and personal growth, powered by our global scale and inspired by a high-performing team. As an intern or co-op student, you'll have opportunities to contribute to meaningful work from day onegaining hands-on technical experience while building skills that will serve you throughout your career. You'll work within one of our organizations for the duration of your internship, contributing to projects that drive real results and add value to the business. Your assignments could include mechanical integrity, process engineering, process control, product development, project management, quality control, modeling and optimization, reservoir engineering, supply chain, and moredepending on your placement and business needs. You'll also gain exposure to the day-to-day work of full-time engineers and scientists, giving you a true sense of what a career at ExxonMobil looks like. Beyond your project work, you'll have the chance to tour facilities, learn from senior leaders, and connect with experienced professionals across the organization. We also host social events that give you the chance to build relationships with your cohort, recent graduates, and leaders across ExxonMobil. Our goal is for every intern to leave ExxonMobil feeling valued, having gained meaningful experiences, professional growth, and lasting skills that support future success.

Program Details:

• Summer internships: ~3 months
• Fall/Spring co-ops: ~4 months

High-performing interns are prioritized for return internships and, upon graduation, full-time roles in our Early Career Foundation program.

Compensation Individual pay will be determined based on various factors including degree/education, discipline, skills, abilities, qualifications, and work experience. Illinois Equal Pay Act Pursuant to the Illinois Equal Pay, for Illinois employment, the expected annual salary range for this position is $50,000 $135,000 base salary ($/year).
