SGS Technologie is hiring a Retirement Plan Services Associate for our direct client in Memphis, TN, Southfield, MI, or St. Petersburg, FL .

Position: Retirement Plan Services Associate

Employment Type: Contract (W2)

Work Schedule: Hybrid

Locations: Memphis, TN | Southfield, MI | St. Petersburg, FL

Candidates must be local to or within commuting distance of one of the above locations.

Recent graduates with a Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field are highly encouraged to apply.

Job Overview

This role offers the potential for full-time conversion based on attendance, performance, and business needs.

• 8 weeks of onsite training
• Hybrid schedule after training (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
• Company laptop provided

The Retirement Plan Services Associate will support the Retirement Plan Services team by processing retirement-related transactions and forms. The role primarily involves back-office operations with minimal phone interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Process retirement plan transactions, including rollovers, internal transfers, and death certificate requests
• Respond to email inquiries regarding retirement account issues
• Review and interpret retirement plan rules and IRS regulations
• Audit account activity to ensure regulatory compliance
• Research and resolve client issues with internal departments
• Review client correction requests and provide guidance to branch personnel
• Maintain knowledge of retirement plan regulations through ongoing training
• Monitor daily productivity and ensure accurate transaction processing

Work Schedule

• 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM local time

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in financial services , preferably in retirement planning, OR
• A recent Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field with some professional work experience and the ability to quickly learn retirement plan fundamentals
• Experience with CRM software preferred
• Call center experience is a plus
• Strong alphanumeric data entry skills with high accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask across multiple systems using dual monitors
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to changing processes
• Strong attendance record with minimal absenteeism or tardiness
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
