Role OverviewThe Senior Data Analyst is a trusted analytical partner who leads complex analyses, develops insights that influence decision-making, and mentors junior analysts. This role bridges data and business strategy by translating questions into actionable insights and establishing analytical best practices.Key ResponsibilitiesLead complex analyses to support strategic and operational decisionsDevelop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical modelsIdentify trends, risks, and opportunities using quantitative and qualitative dataDefine and standardize KPIs, metrics, and reporting frameworksPartner with business leaders to frame problems and recommend solutionsReview and improve analytical work for accuracy and clarityMentor junior analysts and support skill developmentImprove data quality, documentation, and analytical processesQualificationsBachelor 's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of experience in analytics or data-focused rolesAdvanced SQL and strong proficiency in Excel or similar toolsExperience with BI and data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.)Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving skillsAbility to clearly communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiencesPreferred ExperienceExperience with Python or R for analysisKnowledge of statistical methods and experimentationFamiliarity with data modeling or data engineering conceptsDomain expertise (e.g., finance, HR, operations, product analytics)
