Commercial Carpenter OpportunityA commercial general contractor based in Buffalo is looking for carpenters for local work with full benefits including 401k, PTO, healthcare, etc.Job DescriptionThe carpenter will be responsible for:Constructing and installing frameworks, partitions, and other structural components.Measuring, cutting, and assembling materials including wood, drywall, and metal.Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate construction.Repairing and maintaining existing structures as needed.Using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and efficiently.Coordinating with the construction team to complete projects on time and within budget.Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes.Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.The Successful ApplicantA successful commercial carpenter should have:Experience with commercial carpentry and construction projects.Proficiency in reading blueprints, drawings, and construction plans.Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.Skill in using hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment.Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.Ability to work collaboratively with a team.Problem-solving skills to address construction challenges.What's on OfferThe position offers:Competitive salary ranging from $20/hr to $30/hr.Comprehensive health, medical, and 401(k) benefits.Paid time off (PTO) for work-life balance.
