Locums Orthopedic Trauma Surgery Physician

We are seeking a Fellowship-Trained Locums Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join a physician-led organization in Glendale, AZ focused on building and supporting high-performing surgical teams across the United States. Our model emphasizes predictable scheduling, strong clinical support, and allowing surgeons to focus on delivering exceptional patient care in a hospital-based setting. This position supports a Level II Trauma Center and offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced orthopedic trauma team in a collaborative, well-supported environment. The practice provides a balanced mix of operative and non-operative trauma care while maintaining a strong commitment to quality outcomes and patient-centered care. Schedule 183 shiftsannually (24-hour shifts) Blockedscheduling with 7-day stretches Built-inrecovery time between rotations Responsibilities Provideoperative and non-operative management of orthopedic trauma patients Participate intrauma call coverage Manage a broadrange of fracture care and orthopedic injuries Collaborate withtrauma surgery, emergency medicine, hospitalist, and rehabilitation teams Balance surgicalcases, inpatient care, and follow-up clinic responsibilities Ensure timelydocumentation and high-quality patient care Requirements Board Eligibleor Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery Completion of an Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship preferred Experiencemanaging orthopedic trauma patients in a hospital-based setting Eligible for Arizona medical licensure Ability to obtain and maintain hospital privileges Extras Generous (abovemarket) hourly rate All travelarrangements provided and booked by the group, on top of the per shiftrate Med-mal and tailinsurance covered Personal locumsconsultant to manage credentialing and scheduling shifts #J-18808-Ljbffr Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc.
