BookkeeperLocation: Santa Rosa Beach, FL Job Type: Full-TimeJob Summary: We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with payroll and financial reporting. This position requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries.Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.Reconcile bank and credit card statements.Record daily financial transactions.Assist with payroll processing and payroll reporting.Prepare monthly financial reports and account reconciliations.Monitor cash flow and maintain organized financial records.Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.Assist with budgeting and financial audits.Maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information.Work closely with management and outside accountants as needed.Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.Experience with payroll processing is preferred.Strong understanding of accounting principles.Excellent organizational and time management skills.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Preferred SkillsExperience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is a plus.Knowledge of payroll and HR-related accounting.Experience with POS systems and inventory reconciliation is beneficial.
