Supervisor Warehouse

Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:Perform and assist floor employees in performing inbound receipts per documented processes as well as dispositioning non-conforming product, purchase order, or damaged shipments.Lead the department in shipping orders and as required to meet customer delivery and quality level commitmentsInsure outbound shipments are worked in line with our documented procedures and processes.Lead safety efforts involving cable machinery and forklift operationAssist in the maintenance of acceptable productivity and quality levels for floor associates to ensure the performance metrics of the business are met.Ensure cable is prepared for shipment to prevent damage by carriersManage Steel Reel returns for credit and cable junk recyclingAssist in maintaining accurate inventory utilizing a Warehouse Management and Reporting SystemCommunicate any performance issues and observations to department supervisor.Lead floor personnel in the inventory reporting, cycle counting, and reconciliation process.Driving is an essential function of this position.SAFETY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESAdhere to, promote, and accept personal responsibility for compliance to:Federal and Local Occupational Safety and Health RegulationsIndustry Consensus StandardsCircet USA Injury and Illness Prevention Program ManualParticipate in job site safety/hazard analysisQualificationsEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and/or QUALIFICATIONS2-3 years related experience and/or training in a distribution center environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Knowledge of RF processes using Intermec RF scanning equipmentExperience using Exceed 4000 Warehouse Management SystemPOSITION QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
