Mission Readiness Shift Supervisor

Our client, an AV manufacturing company, is looking for a Mission Readiness Shift Supervisor for their Austin, TX location. Responsibilities include providing logistical support for the movement and storage of vehicles and equipment, manually driving L3 and auxiliary vehicles when needed, ensuring the service VH6's are on the correct PRC before sending out for service, assisting with paperwork and documentation related to vehicle readiness, supporting the readiness of spare parts and the associated inventory, ensuring the workshop area is clean, organized, and free of dangerous and/or hazardous material, in accordance with company and OSHA guidelines, supporting remote working sites, fostering open communication among team members and other supervisors to facilitate a cohesive work environment, keeping upper management informed of any significant developments or issues, acting as a point of contact for team members regarding any challenges or issues that may arise during the shift, resolving conflicts and addressing concerns promptly and professionally, regularly observing team members to ensure they are working efficiently and adhering to company standards, providing constructive feedback and coaching as necessary to improve performance, conducting regular risk assessments to identify potential issues, challenges, or opportunities that may arise within the team, being the first level of all quality control in general, providing new-hire onboarding and communicating expectations, supporting the analysis, documentation, and reporting of data, and being an advocate for constant, never-ending improvement.

Requirements include 1+ years of people leadership experience, proven ability to quickly learn technical subjects, ability to travel locally (less than 20%), clean driving record with zero points on the record, advanced knowledge in MS Office/Google Suite, especially Excel or Sheets, detail oriented, team player that collaborates well cross-functionally, excellent written and verbal skills, and must be honest, responsible, and an outstanding communicator. Preferred qualifications include prior experience with Git, proficiency in Jira/Confluence, and proficiency in MS Office/Google Suite, especially Excel or Sheets.
