Job Description Job Description Job Overview The Site Director is a part-time position that consists of managing the Powerhouse program including managing ProCare accounts, teacher engagement, spiritual and professional growth, parent communication, addressing students’ needs and behaviors, designing schedules and activities for the day. This is a Monday-Thursday position, up to 29 hours per week. Reports directly to the Program Director. State Responsibilities Ensure that all designated program areas, activities, and materials follow Texas State Minimum Standards for Licensing, Texas Rising Star and Powerhouse Guidelines daily. Provide communication that is clear and consistent with Program Director, state licensing representative, staff, sickness, state visits, changes, events, etc. Completes all personal and staff training/CEU’s as necessary, including CPR and First Aid. Consistently provides a safe environment for staff and students by assessing risk and resolving all known issues. Attends all trainings, meetings, and special events required by Central Office, Oaks Church, Texas Rising Star, the school you serve, and other State compliance agencies. Implement and carry out all annual emergency drills and procedures as required. Maintain and keep all state documents, state binders, postings, staff and student files up to date according to State Minimum Standards. Consistently provides a safe environment for staff and students by assessing risk and resolving all known issues immediately. Ensures all CCA policies are being met, including the reporting of absences, non-payments, and emergency closures, as well as maintaining all necessary paperwork from the state. Program Responsibilities Implements the vision and Core Values of Oaks Church and Powerhouse Central Office. Model and promote positive culture, guidelines, interactions with students and parents to staff. Teach and demonstrate respect for the campus, classrooms, and teachers’ personal items. Creates, distributes, and ensures staff follow curriculum guidelines in the classroom. Build and maintain professional and friendly relationships with the administration at your campus. Works closely with campus administration, staff, and facilities team to keep calendars and events cohesive for all participants. Maintain our state food program through compliance with training and recording requirements. Purchase food, supplies, and necessary equipment for the program to maintain a high quality of care. Aid teachers in classroom management, staying on schedule, and parent communication during program. Willing and able to fill in for teacher if they are absent or unable to provide care. Attends all program + school events such as campus orientation, literacy nights, etc. Maintain a clean and organized office, storage closet, and classrooms that we use. Supervisor Responsibilities Timely and professional at all times. Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate. Manages ProCare, Asana, ADP payroll, and Microsoft Suite per campus. Reports all needs, concerns and state visits to the Program Director. Follow the budget guidelines and record receipts in our system on time. Tracks campus inventory and purchases items as needed. Prepare and oversee the program each day from opening to closing. Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff. Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations. Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy. Plans and executes daily staff meetings that are productive and enriching for the staff, this will include monthly training courses. Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older. High school diploma or GED equivalent. 1 year experience in a licensed childcare facility as specified in 744.1021 Minimum Standards. Required 70 clock hours of training in child/youth development, recreational leadership, or management or Child Development Associated (CDA)/ higher education degree. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as organizational and time management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, supervisory and leadership skills. Must have or be willing to obtain and maintain required clock hours for site directors required by the state of Texas and TRS. CPR & First Aid certified. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time. Prolonged periods of time standing on your feet monitoring program. Must be able to remain calm in highly stressful situations.
