- Perform thorough patient evaluations, prescribe diagnostic procedures, and develop tailored care strategies
- Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses independently or in partnership with physicians (dependent on credentials)
- Inform patients and their families about wellness practices, illness prevention, and effective management
- Prescribe necessary medications and therapies within your practice scope
- Engage in patient follow-ups and holistic chronic care
- Work alongside interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive and coordinated care
- Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Oregon
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC), or relevant specialty certification
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or the ability to achieve these within 90 days
- Strong clinical judgment complemented by an empathetic approach to patient care
- Exceptional communication abilities with patients, their families, and fellow healthcare providers

- Familiarity with EMR systems and comfort in utilizing telehealth technologies
