Cardiac Monitor Technician
Observes and analyzes cardiac rhythms of monitored patients; reports and responds appropriately to the Registered Nurse any changes in patient's rhythm.
EDUCATION
- HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience
- Completion of EKG monitoring course
- Completions of Monitor Technician Training
- Medical Terminology
- Cardiac Arrythmia recognition
- Cardiac drugs and drips
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN: Previous telemetry monitoring
