Project ManagerWe are currently representing a long-standing general contractor with over five decades of experience delivering high-impact infrastructure for communities across California. Known for building essential facilities such as hospitals, schools, libraries, civic centers, and public safety buildings, this firm continues to expand its presence throughout the state.They are currently seeking experienced project managers to lead a growing portfolio of K-14 school projects, including new construction, modernizations, and renovations. A significant portion of upcoming work is with Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). Candidates with previous LAUSD project experience will be given strong consideration due to the immediate needs of the client and the long-term pipeline with the district. Public works and municipal experience is also valuable.ResponsibilitiesManage multiple active K-14 education projects, including those awarded through LAUSD and other school districtsOversee all project phases from preconstruction through closeoutHandle preconstruction tasks such as constructability reviews, value engineering, estimating, contract negotiations, and budget forecastingLead construction phase operations including staffing, subcontractor management, scheduling, risk mitigation, change orders, and QA/QCCoordinate project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and financial reportingAct as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teamsEnsure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality expectationsSupport a workplace culture that promotes health, collaboration, and employee well-beingQualificationsProven experience managing K-14, public works, or municipal construction projectsPrevious experience with LAUSD is highly preferred and strongly encouragedStrong leadership, organizational, and communication skillsSkilled in preconstruction planning, contract management, and financial oversightProficient in construction project management platforms and Microsoft OfficeAbility to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detailCompensation + BenefitsCompetitive industry salary based on experienceBonus incentive plan tied to project and individual performanceEmployer-paid medical insurance premiumsReimbursement available for dental and vision plansOption to receive a payout if covered under outside insuranceFlexible Spending Account (FSA) for medical and personal costsLong-term disability insurancePaid sick leave, holidays, and vacation timeEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)401(k) with company match
