Collision Customer Specialist – Automotive Aftermarket Division – Boston, MA As a Collision Customer Specialist, you will collaborate with innovative people and make an impact via: Leading sales efforts across all 3M products/portfolios into the collision repair segment of the 3M Automotive Aftermarket Division (US) Implementing sales programs, plans and policies as agreed upon with direct supervisor Determining priorities, frequencies, and call patterns to be most effective and productive Supporting headquarters, regional and zone campaigns, initiatives, and priorities Creating business plans for end users and providing solutions to everyday problems Tracking and measuring all sales activity in 3M’s customer relationship management (CRM) tool Company Vehicle Requirement This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre‑employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position. Qualifications To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution with at least two (2) years of sales and/or automotive aftermarket industry experience in a private, public, government or military environment High School Diploma (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution with six (6) or more years of sales experience in lieu of the bachelor’s degree education requirement in a private, public, government or military environment A current and valid driver’s license Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution in financial acumen Technical expertise and automotive repair industry knowledge Relationship builder with a competitive nature Well‑organized, self‑starter Excellent time and territory management skills Experience working with digital solutions (inventory management, calibration, insurance, etc.) Experience as a manufacturing sales professional or distribution sales (warehouse or jobber) Experience effectively demonstrating products to a variety of key stakeholders or influencers Experience with Salesforce.com or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool Work Location Sales based in Boston, MA area. Sales territory includes Boston and surrounding counties. Travel May include up to 25% domestic. Relocation Assistance May be authorized. Compensation and Benefits Applicable to US applicants only: The expected compensation range for this position is $113,752 – $139,031, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. The range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered may vary based on factors such as relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. The position may be eligible for a range of benefits, including medical, dental & vision, health savings accounts, health care & dependent care flexible spending accounts, disability benefits, life insurance, voluntary benefits, paid absences and retirement benefits.
