At Sycamore Heights, we believe in creating a vibrant and engaging environment for our residents. We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Activity Assistant to join our team full-time. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with individuals and is committed to promoting wellness and joy in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing engaging activities that promote social interaction, mental stimulation, and physical well-being for residents.
- Support residents in participating in various activities, ensuring their comfort and enjoyment.
- Collaborate with the activity coordinator to develop innovative programs tailored to the interests and abilities of residents.
- Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere during activities and encourage participation from all residents.
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of activity spaces and ensure all materials are in order.
- Build meaningful relationships with residents, creating a welcoming and supportive environment.
Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in a similar role is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for working with individuals, particularly in a care or community setting.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexible, creative, and adaptable to the changing needs of residents.
