Position Summary

The Jewish Community Center of Louisville is seeking energetic, friendly, and dependable Fitness Center Associate to join our Sports & Wellness team.

As a Fitness Center Associate team member, you'll be one of the first faces members see when they enter the fitness center. You'll help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by actively engaging with members, maintaining fitness equipment, and ensuring the fitness floor remains organized, professional, and inviting throughout your shift.

Responsibilities

In this role, you'll spend your day creating an exceptional experience for our members. You'll greet and engage with members throughout your shift, help maintain a clean, organized, and safe fitness environment, regularly clean and sanitize equipment, and perform routine walkthroughs to ensure equipment and member spaces meet JCC standards. You'll also assist members with general equipment questions, report maintenance concerns to Fitness Leadership, enforce Fitness Center policies in a professional manner, and contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who is passionate about health, fitness, and customer service and enjoys working with people. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, and professional, communicates well with members and coworkers, is comfortable learning a variety of fitness equipment, and is committed to continued professional growth. Current CPR/AED certification is required, and candidates should be able to lift up to 45 pounds.

Schedule

• We are currently hiring associates for morning and evening shifts, with weekend availability preferred.
