Associate Custom Product Design Engineer

Cytiva, a Danaher operating company, seeks an Associate Custom Product Design Engineer to create assembly drawings and bills-of-materials for custom upstream hardware products. The role involves CAD modeling, cross-functional collaboration with commercial teams, and design documentation to support manufacturing and supply chain operations in Duncan, South Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed assembly drawings and bills-of-materials using 2D/3D CAD modeling systems
- Collaborate with commercial and engineering teams to translate requirements into customized designs
- Ensure complete documentation for successful manufacturing and supply chain transfer
- Generate quotations for approved designs and manage product releases through ECR/ECO processes
- Review design work of team members for layout, form, fit, function, and specification accuracy
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science-based discipline, or related technical field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant design experience with CAD tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with risk assessment
- Customer-focused mindset with multi-functional collaboration experience
Compensation: $60,000–$75,000 base, plus bonus/incentive pay eligibility
