President

For our client Tobroco-Giant we are seeking an experienced President to lead its U.S. operation based in Cedar Falls Iowa. Reporting to the executive leadership team in the Netherlands, the President will have full responsibility for the U.S. business, including commercial strategy, operations, customer support, financial performance, organizational leadership, and long-term growth. Position This is a true General Management role for a commercially driven leader who enjoys building teams, strengthening customer relationships, and growing a business. The successful candidate will serve as the bridge between the Dutch headquarters and the U.S. organization, ensuring that customer needs are translated into operational excellence and profitable growth. The President will succeed the current President, who will remain with the company in a strategic business development role and provide a comprehensive transition and onboarding period. Key Responsibilities Business Leadership Provide overall leadership for the U.S. organization, including sales, operations, customer support, finance, and human resources. Develop and execute the U.S. business strategy in alignment with global leadership. Drive sustainable revenue growth while maintaining profitability. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Commercial Growth Lead the company's sales strategy across North America. Strengthen relationships with the nationwide dealer network, OEM customers, and strategic accounts. Identify new market opportunities and drive business development initiatives. Ensure the organization remains highly responsive to customer needs while positioning Tobroco-Giant as a premium equipment supplier. Operations & Customer Experience Oversee day-to-day operations of the Cedar Falls facility. Strengthen customer support, dealer support, technical training, spare parts availability, and service responsiveness. Continue improving operational processes to support future growth. Work closely with headquarters to optimize supply chain performance and inventory availability. Assume full P&L responsibility for the U.S. business. Develop annual operating plans and budgets. Manage pricing strategies, profitability, cash flow, and operational efficiency. Monitor key performance indicators and implement improvements where necessary. Collaboration with Global Headquarters Serve as the primary liaison between the U.S. organization and headquarters in the Netherlands. Communicate market feedback and the "Voice of the Customer" to engineering, product management, and leadership teams. Help adapt products and services to meet the evolving needs of the North American market. Successfully bridge cultural differences between European and American business practices. Profile Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. 10-15+ years of progressive leadership experience within the heavy equipment, agricultural equipment, construction equipment, industrial equipment, or other capital equipment industries. Proven success leading a business unit, division, or regional operation with full P&L responsibility. Strong background in sales leadership, dealer development, and strategic account management. Experience leading cross-functional teams including sales, operations, customer support, and administration. Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams and develop people. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Preferred Experience Experience working for an entrepreneurial or privately held company. Experience working with or for an international organization. Understanding of both European and American business cultures. Familiarity with dealer distribution models and OEM customer relationships. Experience supporting premium products where customer service and product quality—not price—are key competitive advantages.
