Accountabilities

• Develop, write, and review high-quality copy aligned with creative briefs, strategic objectives, brand guidelines, and client expectations.
• Create compelling pharmaceutical marketing content across digital and print channels, including websites, brochures, banner advertisements, email campaigns, and other promotional materials.
• Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, prioritize competing deadlines, and consistently deliver accurate, polished work.
• Collaborate with art directors, designers, and other creative professionals to ensure strong alignment between written content and visual execution.
• Apply appropriate brand voice, tone, style, and messaging principles to effectively engage specific audiences.
• Stay informed about medical, pharmaceutical, and regulatory developments to ensure content accuracy and compliance with applicable industry requirements.
• Review source materials, prepare annotations, develop accurate citations, and incorporate references into promotional materials when necessary.
• Present copy and final deliverables to internal teams, incorporating feedback and maintaining high editorial standards.
• Anticipate creative and production challenges, proactively identify solutions, and contribute innovative ideas that support brand marketing strategies.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure consistency, quality, and strategic alignment throughout the content development process.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, life sciences, or a related field.
• Professional experience: At least four years of copywriting experience, preferably within pharmaceutical marketing, healthcare communications, or a related regulated industry.
• Pharmaceutical knowledge: Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations, medical communications standards, and relevant industry trends.
• Writing and editing: Excellent copywriting, proofreading, and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and persuasively.
• Scientific accuracy: Ability to interpret medical reference materials, validate information, and produce well-supported, compliant marketing content.
• Brand communication: Experience adapting tone of voice, messaging, and writing style to different brands, audiences, and communication channels.
• Project management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, shifting priorities, and strict deadlines independently.
• Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively alongside creative, medical, regulatory, and other cross-functional teams.
• Creative problem-solving: A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to generate original ideas while adhering to strategic and regulatory requirements.
• Portfolio: A professional copywriting portfolio showcasing relevant writing experience will be required during the interview process.
• Location: Open to remote candidates residing in the United States or Canada, with a preference for candidates located in the Eastern time zone.
