Staff Pharmacist (PRN) in Wholesale Distribution reports to the Wholesale Operations Supervisor and is responsible for ongoing management and operations of the Wholesale Distribution Services. The Staff Pharmacist oversees the day-to-day wholesale operations, off‑site visits, and the progress of any special pharmacy‑related projects. They also complete other duties as assigned by the Wholesale Supervisor to ensure compliance with professional, State, and Federal regulations and standards. The Staff Pharmacist provides direction and supervision for the wholesale staff, and ensures drug and supply information—such as shortages, recalls, and communication to internal and external wholesale customers—is available. The Staff Pharmacist works under moderate supervision with appropriate latitude for initiative and independent judgement. In the absence of the wholesale supervisor, the staff pharmacist reports to the assistant director of inventory management or acts as the pharmacist in charge when the supervisor is unavailable. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
