Senior Cook

Responsibilities This position is responsible for preparing food products using basic and advanced cooking techniques, standardized recipes, and plating guidelines to meet production schedules while adhering to health, safety, and sanitation procedures. Duties include processing food items, responsibly utilizing and storing supplies, maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of equipment and work areas, and participating in recipe and menu development. The role also involves showcasing culinary skills and performing related tasks as required. Qualifications Associate’s degree in culinary arts or equivalent educational credentials, or completion of a formalized apprenticeship. Minimum 1 year of professional line‑cook experience in a full‑service establishment, demonstrating proficiency with fresh ingredients and standardized recipes. At least 6 months of high‑volume line‑cooking experience. Upon hire, must hold a valid National Food Handler Card issued by the relevant state, county, or city authority.
