Travel MRI Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment at a large Level I Trauma Center and Academic Medical Center, requiring 3+ years of experience and Siemens MRI experience.

Job Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting within a large Level I Trauma Center and Academic Medical Center with 1,500+ beds,
• MRI department with a focus on advanced imaging in a high-acuity environment,
• Schedule: 2x16-hour shifts and 1x8-hour shift per week - Saturday/Sunday 7:00 AM-11:00 PM, plus one additional day 2:30 PM-11:00 PM,
• Weekend availability is required,
• Charting via Epic,
• Parking available on-site at $125/month,
• Teal scrubs required,

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of MRI Technologist experience required,
• Hands-on experience with Siemens MRI equipment is required,
• Trauma center experience at a large facility is required,
• Current ARRT (MR) certification and BLS required,
• Epic EMR experience preferred,
• Pending state license accepted - license required if applicable,
• 1 professional reference required for consideration,

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,
• Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position,
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler,
• RTO of 7 days or fewer may be auto-approved; requests exceeding 7 days require additional facility approval; block scheduling is not available,
• Flu vaccine is required - declinations are not accepted,
• COVID vaccine and booster required, with religious or medical exemptions considered,
• Travelers may be required to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities per facility policy
