Patient Care Technician

Patient Care Technician (PCT)DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you'll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.Key Schedule:Open at 5:30 am and close at 8pmHours will be opening to 12 - 14 hr shiftsMonday / Wednesday / FridayFuture growth we might add Tue/Thu/SatKey ResponsibilitiesDeliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis careMonitor patients before, during, and after treatmentSet up and maintain dialysis equipmentRecord vital signs and patient dataEducate patients on treatment and kidney healthCollaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team membersRequirementsAccredited High School diploma, general education development ("GED") credential, or equivalentComfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipmentPhysically able to work long shifts on your feetWilling to float between local clinics if neededFlexible schedule including mornings, evenings, 2 Saturdays a month and rotating holidaysPreferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experienceWhat We OfferPaid training with ongoing education and career pathsFull benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, paid time offFamily support: backup child/elder care, Headspace, EAP, parental leaveCareer development Programs: Clinical Ladders, Bridge to Your Dreams RN programStart your healthcare career with DaVita—apply now!
