JOB SUMMARY
Counselors design, lead, and assess outdoor educational experiences while ensuring participant safety. Key program areas include Field Studies, 4‑H Camp, Camp Wildlife, Camp Voyager, Adventure Camp, and Camp Long.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Management (35%) – Plan and teach activities such as canoeing, team courses, high‑ropes, climbing walls, recreation, arts & crafts, swimming, tubing, paintball, games, and archery. Assist camp directors in weekly scheduling and lead special events. Supervision & Safety (25%) – Monitor all participants, escort campers, respond to behavioral issues, communicate concerns with parents and leadership. Emergency Response (25%) – Understand and implement emergency procedures, maintain incident logs, logbook entries, and daily CUMIS reports. Equipment Management (15%) – Set up, maintain, and break down program sites, manage inventory, report equipment needs, and aid in facility cleanup.PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

Standard hours: 40 per week.COMPENSATION
Expected salary range: $21,100.00 – $31,320.00, dependent on relevant experience and performance.JOB LOCATION
