The University of Iowa’s Nurse-Midwifery Division, housed within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, is seeking a passionate and experienced Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) to join our growing faculty on the non-tenure clinical track.

Successful candidates will be required to self-disclose any misconduct history or pending research misconduct investigation including but not limited to sexual misconduct in prior employment and provide a related release and will be subject to a criminal background and credential check.

• Master's degree. If master's degree is not in nursing, a baccalaureate degree in nursing is required.

• Minimum two years of experience as a practicing midwife



• Active RN/ARNP license from the Iowa Board of Nursing (required prior to hire)



• Strong inpatient and outpatient clinical skills



• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities



• Commitment to teaching and mentoring in an academic setting



• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations, evening clinics, and off-site care

• Board certification through AMCB 

• EPIC proficiency and interest in group prenatal care are highly desirable
