As a Carpenter Apprentice, you'll split your time between our fabrication shop and active job sites, assisting with the construction, assembly, and installation of custom metal and steel products.

• Assist with the fabrication, assembly, and installation of custom architectural and ornamental metal products.
• Build and assemble steel panels, railings, decorative features, and other custom components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to ensure accurate fabrication and installation.
• Measure, mark, cut, grind, sand, polish, and prepare materials using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
• Operate band saws, table saws, grinders, sanders, and other fabrication tools safely and effectively.
• Support field installation crews at commercial, industrial, hospitality, and residential job sites.
• Build wooden crates and packaging for shipment of finished products.
• Load, unload, move, and organize materials, equipment, and finished goods.
• Assist with palletizing, wrapping, and securing products for transportation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Learn forklift operation and become certified upon permanent hire eligibility.
• Follow all company safety standards and job site requirements.

• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
• Experience using basic hand and power tools.
• Comfortable performing physically demanding work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50+ pounds throughout the shift.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to local job sites.
• Basic blueprint reading skills or a strong willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work early morning schedules, including start times as early as 4:00 AM.
• Dependable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.

• Construction, carpentry, landscaping, manufacturing, production, or general labor experience.
• Experience with sheet metal, welding support, fabrication, or installation work.
• Forklift experience.
• Experience building crates, packaging products, or loading/unloading materials.
• Familiarity with layout tools such as combo squares and measuring devices.

You'll work in a fast-paced custom fabrication and construction environment, both in the shop and in the field. Projects include decorative metalwork, railings, architectural features, hospitality construction, commercial developments, industrial facilities, resorts, hotels, and student housing projects throughout the Phoenix area.

Standard hours are typically:

Monday through Friday 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM 10-hour shifts with overtime opportunities available

This role requires working in outdoor weather conditions and non-climate-controlled shop environments where temperatures can become hot. Steel-toe boots and long pants are required at all times.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
