CATERING CAPTAIN (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Overview We are hiring immediately for full time and part time Catering Captain positions. Location: 101 North East Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186. Note: online applications accepted only. Responsibilities Coordinate catering staff schedules to ensure all functions are delivered, served and cleared in a timely fashion. Prepare and serve food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the Catering Director. Maybe drive a truck to deliver food and beverages to catered functions. Determine workload requirements from catering orders; meet with function group leaders to discuss setup arrangements; address last-minute changes and resolve problems. Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a service-oriented manner. Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items; instruct staff on work expectations for catered functions. Help staff set up rooms to desired specifications; assemble and deliver food and supplies to scheduled locations. Serve food and beverages to guests; return serving equipment and utensils to the catering facility. Ensure proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures; follow HACCP standards. Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils; ensure proper food preparation by following approved recipes and production standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Prior serving, banquet, and customer service experience is required. A valid driver\'s license may be required. Must possess or obtain a valid food handler\'s permit and/or alcohol servers permit where required by state law. Benefits Free uniforms, meals, and holidays off.
