Assistant Coach, Women’s Soccer – Part‑Time (Seasonal) Position Overview Support the head coach in executing the organization, administration, and coaching of the Women’s Soccer program at Bucks County Community College. Responsibilities Execute a clearly defined philosophy of coaching and teaching soccer and prepare the team for competition. Recruit sufficient, qualified student‑athletes. Support fundraising goals set for the program. Assist in providing oversight, reports, and recommendations pertaining to facility usage, improvements, and deficiencies to the athletic department. Drive for away games in the college or rental vehicle. Assist in submitting team statistics for each game. Support the athletic department, student‑athletes’ eligibility/academic progress and provide support as needed. Support retention and completion initiatives in conjunction with the athletic department and student‑service support staff. Display a commitment to equality in player development and training. Provide student‑athletes with a supportive environment. Provide off‑season activities for player development and engagement. Comply with all college and USCAA policies, procedures, rules, and regulations and all other aspects of directing a quality intercollegiate Women’s Soccer program. Coach as a professional, mentor, and excellent representative of the values of Bucks County Community College. Minimum Qualifications Experience coaching intercollegiate (varsity), club sport, or varsity high‑school athletics. Knowledge and experience coaching Women’s Soccer. Knowledge of NCAA, USCAA, or NJCAA rules and compliance. CPR certification / First Aid preferred. Valid driver’s license and good driving record; willingness to drive the college or rental team van. Successful completion of required background checks and clearances, including a Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check and a motor‑vehicle records check. Compensation Season salary: $4,000. Eligibility & Clearances Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of all required background checks and clearances. This includes a Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check, verification of a valid driver’s license, and a motor‑vehicle records check. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
