SUPERVISORY PUBLIC AFFAIRS SPECIALIST

Job Title
You will provide direct public affairs and communication strategy counsel to the MARFORRES/MARFORSOUTH commander and all major subordinate command commanding generals as well as key senior leaders and staff.
You will directly supervises the command's communication strategy planning, operational integration and scheduling, integrating and executing communication strategy missions in support of major subordinate commands.
You will advise command on actual and potential public affairs issues and recommend strategic alternatives to command activities with potential critical international or detrimental political and/or media impacts.
You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing national media relation strategies that promote the understanding of the MARFORRES and MARFORSOUTH missions and contributions across the USSOUTHCOM AOR.
You will directly supervises the publication and distribution of information to command websites, social media outlets, and other print/visual information products as required.
