As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support hospital operations including sensitive areas, and assist with managing challenging situations. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and puts people first. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:30 PM - 11:00 PMTue02:30 PM - 11:00 PMSun02:30 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies in a healthcare setting. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established response protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding property to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and access-control procedures in accordance with facility policies. Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Must be able to work in a hospital morgue. Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting. Possession of a guard card is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
