Director, IT Program & Delivery Management

DescriptionThe Director, Technical Project Management leads the planning and execution of complex technology initiatives across the organization. This role is responsible for delivering high-impact projects aligned with business strategy, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with deep project management expertise, strong technical acumen, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration across IT, business stakeholders, and external partners.Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end delivery of large, complex technology projects and programsDefine project scope, objectives, timelines, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholdersDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and governance artifactsTrack progress, manage dependencies, and ensure timely delivery of milestonesServe as the primary liaison between business leaders, IT teams, and vendorsIdentify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactivelyEnsure compliance with organizational policies, governance, and regulatory requirementsManage project budgets, resource allocation, and vendor engagementsApply and implement project management best practices and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid)Manage cross-functional project teamsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred9+ years of experience in enterprise-level technology project management and team management delivering complex initiativesExperience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project)Preferred QualificationsPMP, PgMP, or similar certificationFamiliarity with cloud platforms, enterprise systems, or digital transformation initiativesExperience managing regulatory or compliance-driven projects (e.g., SOC2, SOX, HIPAA-type environmentsAbout Segal and its Total Rewards Program:Segal is a privately owned, leading North American employee benefit, human resources and investment management consulting firm with over 80 years of history providing trusted advice that improves lives. The current salary range for this position is $124,500 to $165,000, plus opportunity for a discretionary performance bonus based on company profitability and employee performance.
