We're Hiring an Experienced Accounts Payable Professional!
Are you an Accounts Payable expert who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We're seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist with strong, high-volume AP experience to join a busy accounting team in Canton, Ohio.
If you have a proven background managing large volumes of invoices, vendor accounts, and reconciliations while maintaining exceptional accuracy, we'd love to hear from you!
What You'll Do
- Process and accurately enter a high volume of vendor invoices, credit memos, debit memos, and vouchers
- Review invoices for accuracy, approvals, and supporting documentation
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies
- Research and clear past due invoices and outstanding balances
- Process weekly check runs and vendor payments
- Assist with bank reconciliations and month-end closing activities
- Track vendor credits and return transactions
- Maintain organized accounts payable records and documentation
- Communicate professionally with vendors and internal departments regarding payment status and account questions
- Provide excellent customer service while supporting internal teams and vendor relationships
What We're Looking For
- Strong Accounts Payable experience is REQUIRED
- Previous high-volume Accounts Payable experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred
- 1-2+ years of Accounts Payable or related accounting experience
- Experience with ERP or accounting software
- Strong reconciliation and data entry skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced office environment
- Dependable, professional, and able to work independently
