Position: Senior Manager, Retail Media Strategy

Location: Remote within the contiguous US; employees should live within 50 miles of a major airport. Preferred states include AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, KS, MO, NJ, NC, OK, OR, PA, TN, WA. Additional states will be considered for the ideal candidate.

Job Summary:

The Senior Manager, Media Retail Strategy will guide brand partners through Amazon Retail Media and broader digital advertising strategy, grounded in Netrush's Modern Commerce Playbook. This is a strategic partnership role: the Strategist sets the direction, builds the narrative, and earns partner trust at the executive level, then translates that strategy into clear, actionable direction for the operators who execute it.

The Senior Manager, Media Retail Strategy is a natural storyteller and advisor who can distill complex retail media performance into a compelling executive narrative, and who leads through clear communication and direction rather than hands-on execution. This role does not own campaign execution; it owns the strategy, the partner relationship, and the story that connects the two.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner Strategy & Executive Storytelling

• Serve as the strategic lead and trusted advisor for brand partners, guiding their retail media investment against Netrush's Modern Commerce Playbook

• Craft and deliver the executive-level narrative: translating performance data, market trends, and consumer insight into a clear story of progress, opportunity, and impact

• Align every strategy to the Playbook's three pillars: seamless customer journeys, engagement and loyalty, and responsible growth

• Anticipate partner questions and priorities, shaping recommendations that resonate at the leadership level

Direction & Enablement of Operators

• Translate strategy into clear, well-scoped direction for the operators who execute Amazon PPC, DSP, AMC, and cross-platform campaigns (Google, TikTok, Meta, and others)

• Communicate priorities, context, and success criteria so operators can execute with confidence and speed

• Review performance results and operator output, providing sharp, constructive direction to keep execution aligned with the strategy and partner goals

• Act as the connective layer between strategic vision and operational delivery, without owning execution directly

Consumer-Centric Strategy

• Champion the voice of the customer, bringing consumer behavior and preference insight into every strategic recommendation

• Ensure digital strategy supports a seamless, connected consumer experience across online and offline touchpoints

Performance Measurement & Communication

• Own the story behind the numbers: synthesizing advertising performance into clear insights and forward-looking recommendations

• Communicate results, challenges, and strategic pivots to partners with clarity, confidence, and transparency

• Set attribution and measurement frameworks that tie back to partner objectives (e.g., ROI, NTB acquisition)

Strategic Collaboration

• Partner closely with internal Retail Strategy and Analytics teams to build integrated, Playbook-aligned marketing plans

• Represent the strategic point of view in client conversations, positioning Netrush as an indispensable growth partner

Required Skills:

• Experience in retail strategy, ecommerce, account management, or digital commerce

• Strong understanding of Amazon or similar retail platforms

• Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable plans

• Excellent communication and client relationship skills

• Ability to lead through influence across cross functional teams

• Familiarity with paid media, retail media, and awareness strategies

• Strong organizational and documentation skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in brand management or consulting

• Experience with modern marketing channels including influencer marketing and podcast advertising

• Knowledge of category dynamics within health, wellness, beauty, or CPG

• P&L management

• Expertise with marketing analytics, deriving key insights from data to inform strategic decision-making

Compensation and Benefits:

• Annual base salary range is $90,000 - $140,000, depending on experience and location
