Travel Registered Nurse – Medical Telemetry (Days)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Medical Telemetry unit with a day shift RN ratio of 1:5/6
• Monitor patients using medical remote telemetry equipment and document care using Cerner EMR
• Prepare patients for procedures including Endoscopy, Interventional Radiology, and OR as needed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, CNAs, and HUCs to deliver safe, high-quality care
• Float to designated sister Med-Surge units as required per scheduling needs
• Fulfill weekend shift commitments per the unit scheduling policy (minimum 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Demonstrated Medical Telemetry experience
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Charge Nurse or leadership experience
• CMSRN certification
