About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Trauma Telemetry (IMC/PCU/Stepdown)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Trauma Telemetry unit with a night shift RN-to-patient ratio of 1:6/7
• Monitor and interpret medical remote telemetry data using electronic monitoring systems
• Document patient assessments and care accurately using Cerner EMR
• Prepare patients for procedures including Endoscopy, Interventional Radiology, and OR
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, CNAs, and HUC staff
• Fulfill weekend shift requirements as part of the standard scheduling rotation

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Demonstrated competency in medical telemetry
• Ability to work in a fast-paced trauma telemetry environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Charge nurse or leadership experience
• CMSRN certification
• Prior experience with Cerner EMR
