Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit / Clinical Decision Unit

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (Travel) | 8-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a mixed-level-of-care inpatient overflow unit serving medical-surgical and step-down patients
• Manage a patient assignment of 1:5 to 1:6 ratio, adjusting based on level of care needs
• Monitor and manage patients on continuous telemetry via hardwired bedside monitors
• Facilitate care for short-stay patients with a target length of stay under 24 hours, supporting high unit turnover
• Document all patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
• Float to other units as needed per staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care or Step-Down setting
• Demonstrated telemetry competency
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Current ACLS certification (required)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Recent progressive care or step-down experience in a similar clinical environment
• Experience with Cerner EMR
