Operating Room Registered Nurse

George Washington University Hospital seeks an OR Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality perioperative care in a 395-bed academic medical center in Washington, DC. In this fast-paced, innovative environment, you will care for complex surgical patients, using advanced technology and evidence-based practices. Responsibilities include pre-, intra-, and post-operative assessments, circulating and/or scrubbing, medication administration, patient/family education, and accurate EMR documentation. You will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, residents, and interdisciplinary teams, and participate in teaching, research, and quality improvement initiatives while serving a diverse urban population.
