Production Planner Senior

Senior Analyst, Production and Workshop Planning Illuminate USA is a joint venture in Pataskala, Ohio, with a 1.1‑million‑square‑foot solar panel manufacturing facility. The company supports a workforce of more than 1,500 employees and is focused on efficient, on‑time delivery of high‑quality solar panels across the Western Hemisphere. Overview As a Senior Analyst, you will design, implement, and refine production plans, translating customer demand into actionable production schedules. Your work ensures resources are allocated efficiently, production bottlenecks are resolved, and key performance indicators are achieved. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) in collaboration with the Planning Manager. Develop monthly and weekly production plans aligned with business objectives. Validate product delivery schedules and confirm feasibility. Balance production schedules to optimize resources and meet delivery deadlines. Create and manage work orders, balancing incoming orders and coordinating with departments. Distribute production task orders and ensure material availability for timely production. Monitor work order progress and oversee final production stages to secure completion. Lead production planning meetings—prepare agendas, distribute minutes, and drive action items. Collaborate with supply‑chain and inventory teams to manage material requirements and mitigate disruptions. Analyze production capacity, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions to maintain workflow efficiency. Track key performance indicators such as WIPs, work order closures, and rework rates. Qualifications Undergraduate degree required; Master’s degree preferred in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related fields. At least 5 years of experience in production planning and workshop coordination within manufacturing. Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Proficiency with production planning software and ERP systems. Experience building and maintaining complex planning models. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
