Desired Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification with specialization in Special Education
- Previous experience in a school-based setting working with students with varied abilities
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, able to partner with colleagues, families, and support staff
- Ability to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to diverse learning needs

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute effective lesson plans that align with IEP goals and state standards
- Provide direct instruction and modify teaching techniques to accommodate varying learning styles and abilities
- Track, assess, and document student progress, updating IEPs as needed
- Collaborate with general education teachers to support the integration of students into inclusive classrooms
- Communicate progress and challenges with parents/guardians proactively and professionally
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and ongoing professional development
