Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team in the provision and management of patient care
• Care for post-surgical and post-catheterization patients on a Med Surg/Telemetry unit
• Manage and monitor cardiac, heparin, insulin, and titration drips
• May be required to float to the ER and ICU as needed within the same discipline
• May be asked to float across local campuses within the same discipline
• Expected to work 1-2 of 3 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Med Surg, Telemetry, or Med/Tele
• Active Iowa RN license required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• ACLS certification (AHA) required
• NIHSS certification required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (based on driver's license/taxable address)

• First-time travelers accepted with a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience
• Comfort and familiarity with cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
• Experience working in or floating to ER or ICU settings

• Join a regional acute care facility with a structured orientation program beginning every Monday
