Senior Accountant

We have partnered with a well known organization in the manufacturing and distribution sector who is looking for a hands on Senior Accountant to join the team during an exciting period of transition and growth. Why You Should Apply: Ground floor opportunity to build and improve an accounting function Be part of a growing team with strong executive support Flexible schedule with work life balance Collaborate team with family first mentality Impressive compensation and benefits package (unlimited PTO) Work in a fast paced, high ownership environment with strong operations crossover Long term professional incentives What You’ll Be Doing As Senior Accountant Own daily accounting operations: A/R, A/P, bank reconciliations, and journal entries Manage month end close, reporting packages, and variance analysis Document, improve, and implement internal controls and accounting workflows Support licensing, sales/use tax, and compliance across multiple states Collaborate cross functionally with ops and leadership to align financial goals Play a lead role in an upcoming ERP transition and systems migration Provide accurate, GAAP compliant financial data to support decision making What Sets You Apart As Senior Accountant: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (distribution/manufacturing is a big plus) Degree preferred but not required for the right experience Strong command of GAAP and internal control best practices QuickBooks expertise required; NetSuite or other ERP experience is highly valued Excel savvy with solid analytical and reporting skills Comfortable working in a high volume, hands on environment The Details: Location: Houston, TX (North Houston); onsite Pay: $80,000 - $90,000 (based on experience) Start Date: ASAP This is more than a traditional accounting role, it’s a chance to leave your fingerprint on a newly evolving business.
