Service Dispatcher/ Administrator

Job Description Job Description This position has multiple internal and external relationships. The Service Dispatcher interfaces with the Service Administrator, Service Manager, A/R Manager, and Purchasing to coordinate all service work with HVAC/R Technicians. This position has daily contact with co-workers and customers. Occasional contact, as needed, will be made with suppliers and vendors. POSITION FUNCTION/OVERVIEW: Service Dispatcher is to orchestrate and coordinate all aspects relating to the scheduling and allocation of service technicians. Control and properly document all service calls and communicating all necessary information with all parties to a service call. Follow existing processes and be adaptable to any deviation(s) to process as deemed necessary by any party to the service call. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: • Coordinate all aspects of technician allocation for all service and project jobs locally, out of town, and overseas • Control and record all pertinent job information from inception to conclusion • Assist technicians with work related issues as requested or as needed • Coordinate and communicate with Purchasing Department on all job-related issues, as needed • Create, Correct, and Receive all Purchase Orders as necessary for Lodging & Travel expenses (airfare, taxi, parking, etc...) • Be available to field after hours “on-call” phone calls on an alternating time frame for all departments • Communicate with answering service any issues receiving calls and seek a remedy REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION: Four years’ experience field or equivalent. EXPERIENCE: College degree or equivalent KNOWLEDGE AND TRAINING: QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite, Multi-tasking ability, Professional phone communication, Strong Interpersonal Skills, High Organizational Skills Company Description We are committed to providing extraordinary service that is performed by our dynamic team.
