Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Bike Patrol in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine vehicle and bike patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and reliable support while representing Allied Universal’s values of agility, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government-related location.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following post orders and applicable protocols.
- Maintain awareness of authorized access points, observe and report unusual activity, and complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation.
- Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, company policy, and site-specific post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Must be able to ride a bike.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
