Familiarity with the administration of emergency medications is crucial. The nurse must be proficient in interpreting dysrhythmias and managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction. Experience in isolation precautions and triage is necessary. Candidates should be prepared for potential floating across departments, units, and facilities.
