Job Description
Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule

Varied start times: 10 AM, 11 AM, and 12 PM. Day shifts, 3x12-hour shifts.

Assignment Details

Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks. Coverage of weekend shifts required: every third weekend or 8 shifts within a 6-week schedule.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience required.
• BLS, NIHSS, ACLS, PALS certifications required.
• Experience in pediatrics, psychiatric care, IV therapy/phlebotomy, respiratory management, medication administration, and neurological emergencies.
• Proficiency in emergency department settings.
• Must float within scope to meet facility needs.
• Home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility.
• No pending licenses accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the emergency department.
• Conduct patient assessments and triage patients effectively.
• Manage and monitor IV therapy and pharmacological interventions.
• Assist in emergency procedures and support trauma care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care.
