Account Manager I

Employee Benefits Account Manager Responsible for maintaining a book of business, managing client accounts, processing service requests, and ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines. Responsibilities Manage client accounts including processing service requests, policy changes, cancellations, and other functions. Handle book of business of $200,000, as available. Review insurance applications and policies to ensure initial compliance and underwriting authority and guidelines. Provide insurance information and support to sales executives in a variety of written forms. Screen and process insurance applications. Prepare and compile insurance-related documents within established procedures. Market existing and new accounts. Maintain all records. Maintain positive carrier relationships. Assist in meeting office sales goals. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Licensing and Certification Requirements Current Life/Health license preferred; if not, must be obtained within 120 days of hire. Qualifications 1‑2 years of relevant experience. Up to 25% travel required. High school diploma or equivalent required.
