COE Social Clinical Research Assistant

Position Summary The Center of Excellence Social Clinical Research Assistant will report to the BHS Assistant Director of Administrative Services and Operations and will collaborate with the Center of Excellence Program Manager to monitor, track, and report research data associated with the Center of Excellence Technical Assistant Program. This time‑limited, full‑time (1.0 FTE) position has guaranteed funding through December 31, 2027, and requires a valid driver’s license because the role involves up to 25% travel across North Carolina. Responsibilities Track training course development and participant attendance. Evaluate participant engagement and instructor effectiveness. Report course and instructor evaluation data for in‑person and virtual training offerings. Support the development and facilitation of in‑person and virtual training sessions. Host and manage training sessions. Collaborate with the Program Manager to post evaluation findings and results on the BHS and Center of Excellence webpages. Collect and analyze data to inform program improvements. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be from appropriately accredited institutions. Management Preferences Ability to manage workload both independently and collaboratively without immediate direct supervision. Ability to think critically to solve complex logistical problems involving diverse populations (e.g., schools, community‑based nonprofits, university, state entities). Approachable, calm demeanor that fosters open communication among diverse stakeholders. Experience using data to solve problems and develop a continuous quality improvement process. Ability to perform statistical analyses using both qualitative and quantitative data sets, data collections, and using software tools (e.g., Qualtrics, Microsoft Excel, WordPress). Physical/Mental Requirements Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
