Medical Laboratory Technician PRN

Position Overview A Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) PRN is sought to join a laboratory team dedicated to teamwork, quality, and safety in patient care. The role involves performing laboratory procedures across various specialties such as blood banking, chemistry, hematology, immunology, and microbiology. Key Responsibilities Perform laboratory tests using established protocols with minimal supervision. Maintain equipment, records, and quality assurance activities. Evaluate and troubleshoot biological specimens and test results, ensuring accuracy and precision. Assist in evaluating new techniques, writing technical procedures, and supporting staff and students. Answer inquiries related to test methodology and results, and participate in ongoing education and process improvements. Qualifications & Skills Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent, or qualification under CLIA guidelines. Certification as MLT (ASCP) or similar. At least 1 year of clinical laboratory experience preferred.
